Maple Sunday - A Maine Tradition

An annual celebration of the coming of spring, Maine Maple Sunday provides an inside look into how pure Maine maple syrup is made. Syrup producers across the state open their farms to the public to offer sap house tours and give demonstrations in sap tapping, collecting, and boiling.

Maple Sunday a Maine TraditionYou'll also have the opportunity to sample freshly made maple syrup from syrup topped ice cream to full blown breakfasts, as well as many other maple flavored goodies. Many farms also host other activities, such as hay rides, farm animal visits, and face painting.

Maine Maple Sunday has been a favorite activity for families for over 30 years! It is always on the fourth Sunday in March, but many activities take place all weekend.
