Our members are a critical component to the success of the Arboretum. In 2022, over $30,000 was raised through memberships, which helped to support:
-
- Free, year-round access to our trails and botanical gardens.
- Youth programs and summer camp
- Educational programs and events for adults and children
- Free ski and snowshoe rentals for children
- Interactive and educational exhibits
- Maintenance of dozens of botanical collections
- Development of new climate research project
- Conservation of our natural environment
As our membership numbers grew, we knew we had to find ways to improve and enhance the benefits we offered. In addition to enhanced benefits, we chose to create two programs: household and business memberships. Visit our Contribute Page to learn more about our membership program.
Our household membership program.
Your household membership now offers you free admission and/or additional benefits at more than 345 gardens throughout North America and the Caribbean through the Arboretum’s participation in the American Horticultural Society's Reciprocal Admissions Program. You can click here to learn more about that program. This is in addition to the benefits you already have: discounted pricing for events and programs, discounts on facility rentals and gift shop purchases, a copy of our annual newsletter, and an invitation to our annual meeting.
Our new business membership program.
With several local businesses already supporting the Arboretum, we wanted to create a benefits package that was geared toward them and their employees. Business members will be recognized on the Arboretum’s social pages, website, and annual newsletter. They will receive the same discount benefits as our household members, and will also be able to extend those benefits to their employees. Business members at the higher levels will have complimentary use of the Arboretum grounds and facility once or twice per year. Any gift of $100 or more qualifies for a business membership.
